THE CHARACTER OF LAVENDER
Some things are never outgrown. A slower morning. A quieter evening. The comfort of returning to what matters.
Central Coast Lavender — California Lavender Living™
You belong here
A calmer home, quiet rituals, and the scent of the field woven through your everyday. I call it California Lavender Living, and there is always room for one more.
Why lavender reaches you
Here is the part that felt like magic to me long before I understood it. When you breathe lavender in, its molecules meet the receptors made to receive them, a key finding its lock, and the message goes straight to the limbic brain, the oldest part of you, where feeling and memory live, before a single thought has formed. I have always called that resonance. The right lavender meeting you, and you knowing it.

This is how your mornings may begin now. A little slower, a breath deeper, the day met rather than chased.
Evenings
When the house finally goes quiet, this is the hour made for rest. A mist over the pillow, a candle lit, the day set down.
Our Story
I went looking for purity, and found purpose. Some things you do not set out to build. They grow up around you.

Perfectly giftable
A mist, a 10 mL essential oil, and a sachet — the whole lavender world in one small box. Because it's a little of each, you get every way to live with it at once, and a gift that feels considered.

One rich, fast-absorbing lotion, offered in four botanical blends — Harmony, Calm, Energy, and Zen. Each pairs our own lavender with a botanical mood of its own. Not sure which is yours?
What botanical blend are you? →The essential oils, straight from the still. Every one begins in the rows here.
Our lavender was never sourced — she was received. We were honored with true-to-type mother stock, personally carried to us by Sarah Berringer Bader — handed down, one lavender family to another. Raised organically and distilled by hand on our one Paso Robles farm since 2006.
Both are lavender. True lavender tends to soften and settle you, lavandin runs brighter and more awake. Different characters, for different moments.
A warm soak to wind the evening down, a mist over the pillow before sleep, a candle lit when the house goes quiet. Answer a question and find yours.
I keep a small working farm in Paso Robles wine country, not open to the public. The best way to visit is here, and through the Journal.
