The two oils. One English Lavender Essential Oil and one French Lavandin Essential Oil, grown and steam distilled on the farm.
Dosage. A few drops. A little lavender goes a long way.
Sizes. Two 10 mL bottles or two 30 mL bottles.
How to use
Try one in the morning and the other in the evening, and notice which one you reach for again. A few drops are enough for a diffuser, a warm bath, or cupped between the palms. Keep away from the eyes, and dilute in a carrier oil before applying to the skin.
Once you know your lavender, the single bottle awaits: English Lavender for the softer side, French Lavandin for the brighter one.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between English Lavender and French Lavandin?
English Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) is the softer, sweeter, more floral of the two. French Lavandin is brighter and more herbaceous, with a clean, camphoraceous edge. Neither is better; they are two moods of the same plant.
How do I use the oils?
A few drops in a diffuser, a warm bath, or cupped between the palms. For the skin, dilute in a carrier oil first. Keep away from the eyes.
Which one should I keep once I know?
Whichever you reach for. Many keep both. When you are ready, the single bottles are here: English Lavender for the softer side, French Lavandin for the brighter one.
Do you test on animals?
Never. We make everything by hand on the farm, and we do not test on animals.
Packaging and recycling. Many of our packaging components are recyclable. We recommend taking them apart before sorting: remove labels, pumps, and caps. Our aluminium bottles are recyclable, so separate the cap first. Bottles may be recycled. Labels, pumps, pipettes, and caps go in the waste bin. Pumps and pipettes are also lovely to reuse.
